Arrived on site Upon arrival, the homeowner son and I discussed the issue that is currently taking place. He stated that there is a humming coming from a small box within the basement and does not have any water pressure at all. I performed a visual inspection of the well tank and the components associated with it. while doing so I confirmed That the pressure gauge is reading zero and the contacts are closed on the pressure switch, the pressure switch has major pitting on the contacts and is it also is an older version of a manual type switch. these devices are notorious for failing after approximately 5 years i Then made sure that there was correct voltage leading up to the pressure switch as this is a 240 V system, i have ran into a breaker dropping a power lag, not creating enough voltage to operate the system. I then went out to the pump head itself to perform an inspection on the wiring and cap. All items seem to be improper order, After obtaining multiple electrical measurements,

I was called out today for a flush and fill. Upon arrival Keith stated he hasn’t had any issues with the water heater and it was installed in 2015. I explained to Keith that the water heater is right near the expected life expectancy and I could perform the flush but there may be a possibility that it causes an issue since the unit has never been flushed. Keith decided to go with the flush today so we could determine what the condition of the tank is and go from there. I flushed the water heater for approximately a half hour, there was very little sediment or debris flushed out. Keith does have water treatment in place and a whole home sediment filter, which look to be working correctly from the condition of the tank. After flushing and refilling the water heater I turned it back on and it operated as it should. Came out to address a no heat issue on the system, found it to be a continuation of a recurring problem, attempted diagnostics, will confer with supervisor and take the data gathered in an attempt to provide a long term solution to the issue. MCB : Replaced the faulty (noisy) blower motor, fan blade and motor mount on the existing wood fueled free standing stove. This blower was jumped out and tested to ensure proper operation.
