For this job I was called back on a possible job call back. We have previously been here for repairs on the wood insert blower. Upon arrival talked with David and he stated that his wall stat would sometimes have power and other times have none. I then thoroughly went through unit and verified power at multiple points and was able to locate a molex plug in the far back corner under the wood insert that was loosely connected and causing a short period connected Molex and everything powered up with no further issues. Unsure if related to previous trips, no charge at this time

For this job I performed a midseason inspection on a 14 year old Trane furnace. Upon inspection noticed corrosion on heat exchanger as well as burners. This condition will only progress over time but is consistent with age of unit. This current furnace is near the end of its lifespan and I would start budgeting for replacement. Went over replacement options and emailed quotes.

For this job I was called to a fireplace that was having issues. Talked with David upon arrival and he stated the fan was working and then all of a sudden it just powered down and did not turn back on. Performed evaluation of wood insert and found that the thermal snap disc which sensed heat and turned fan on went bad and has failed. David would like it replaced, temporarily jumped fan so homeowner can operate until part comes in.
