It was a pleasant surprise to see a girl come to my door. I've been with Swick for several years and it was the first time a girl came. MacKenzie is very friendly and professional. She knew the problem right away and discussed options with me for replacement of water heater. She is very knowledgeable and explained each and every option clearly with me. Thanks again, Swick, for your services! I so appreciated that you came over the very next day after my first phone call regarding my problem.
Timely and informative service - very much appreciated.

For this job, I was headed to a no heat on a boiler. Talked with Matt prior to arrival as he was at work and he stated the boiler quit working yesterday and is unaware of what the cause might be. He then let me know that his father would be meeting me on site to let me in. Upon arrival performed thorough evaluation of unit. Unit To be 20+ years old, but did have some updates such as controls and new zones. Attempted to cycle unit and unit would not even attempt to light, no voltage was going to the control. I then tracked back the problem to the vent zone damper motor. Power was going to motor Damper was open but not allowing pass-through of power back to boiler control. Jumped damper motor out to double verify issue and unit lit with no problem. Due to agent condition and unit being outside of any applicable #Warranty I would look at replacement options in the near future. Call Mathew back with findings and at this time he would just like to proceed with repair. Will leave quotes f
I was called out to Sandy’s home today to look at a water heater not working. Upon arrival Sandy explained she recently noticed some water on the floor as well. We did an evaluation on the water heater and noticed the tank has failed and the water heater does not have a designated shit off. From here I went over options with Sandy and she would like to go with option two but is going out of town until next Wednesday and needs to talk this over with her brother. For the time being we drained the tank and capped the inlet to the water heater as well as turned the gas off. Today Sandy paid for the drive up and an evaluation fee that will be put towards the water heater when she calls back in. Sandy would like me to call her Wednesday afternoon to follow up with her. The opening to the closet is 21” the water heater will have to be able to fit in this opening.
I arrived on site to complete an annual maintenance on the furnace and the air conditioner. This system is original to the home. During my thorough valuation of the system, I did notice a lot of rust inside the heat exchanger, which is concerning. This leaves potential for it to crack or get pin holes in it. I Recommend budgeting for replacement due to the age and condition of the furnace. I was also on site to look at leaking toilet. After looking through our records, it doesn’t appear that we have installed it. I will have to order parts and return to install them. Thanks for choosing swick!
