Signs You Need Expert Drain Cleaning
While there are plenty of plumbing issues that do not technically qualify as emergencies, sometimes issues can become a major inconvenience for your home. One of those problems are clogged drains. Some of the more common warning signs that you need drain cleaning include:
- Cloudy or colors water
- Visible water leakage
- Frozen pipes
- Bad smells
- Water backup
- Gurgling noises during drainage
If you aren’t careful, washing items like hair, cooking grease, food particles, and other items that won’t break down in the flow of water may result in a clog forming inside your drain. While these issues may not seem pressing, a clog can lead to a severe plumbing emergency down the line. That’s why it’s important to call our expert team for expert drain cleaning services.

for Deerton, MI
Arrived on site Upon arrival the home owner stated that the shower drain isn’t draining well, upon looking over the stand up shower I realized that this is a specific drain/trap configuration. This style of shower uses a flex drain with an integrated trap/check valve. While on site we discussed options to address this style of drain and perform a permanent fix and removal of the trap. While on site I performed a drain clearing with kinetic energy, upon doing so I was able to gain very little flow. Th home owner is aware of this configuration and the limitations to clearing the drain properly. He would like to move forward with bio clean to help keep other drains actively flowing without causing damage to the septic field. The shower drain has not gained more flow, the home owner is interested in having the drains replaced and open to ideas of a permanent fix. Thank you for choosing Swick Home Services, we value and appreciate you.
